Skeletor and the Boners interview for Jackalope skate mag

I had grand plans of starting a printed zine awhile ago. I have too much shit to do already, so I'm gonna treat my blog like the zine. Here's an interview I did with Skeletor and the Boners.

Spencer: Where are you dudes from?

Boners: We're from a deadly realm called Windsor, California.

S: What would you consider to be your spirit animal?

B: Our spirit animal is a dead goat, with the body of a fat dude and the claws of a dragon, and the wings of a raven. He comes in the night... lurking in shadows. He wears leather pants and smells like patchouli.

S:Do you ever wish David Lee Roth would come over and hang out with you?

B: We wish he would STOP coming over. Dude is crazy.

S: who would win in a fight: David Lee Roth or a Wooly Mammoth?

B: For it is Written, "...and the Diamond one clashed horns with a great, wooly beast. Flesh was gnarled and feelings were hurt, but when the dust settled... the Diamond still wailed." -From 'Hot for Teacher,' the David Lee Roth Autobiography.

S: What if David Lee Roth had an erection? Would that change the outcome of the battle?

B: I doubt he was flaccid during the time that passage describes. Historians say he most likely had a rockin sidepipe.

S: How many hours a day do you praise Satan as your lord and master?

B: We worship 6 hours a day, 6 days a week, 6 months out of the year. We rest on the Sabbath.

S: And how does that affect your dance moves?

B: It cuts into our dance practice sometimes.

S: Okay, serious questions now. Where's your favorite place to skate?

B: The Windsor Safeway ledge, San Diego Clairemont skatepark, Sonoma County skateparks, San Fransisco street spots, the list goes on.

S: Where can your music be aquired?

B: Some songs are available on our myspace. Our first album, "Blood Turns Black," will finally be official very soon.

S: How long have you guys been a band?

B: We've been channeling the Darkside for over 6 years.

S: Any shout outs or upcoming info?

B: Shout outs and thanks to Scene Video Magazine, Wayward Son, Spoken Art, Faternal, Shnar Skateboards, Chris from the Foz, our fans, and everyone we skate and rage with. Oh, and the devil.
